There are a few options that can be used:

• Change password after first login
• Change password on portal
• Minimum password length
• Password expires after x days: This option makes it possible to force a user/subscriber to change his password
• Block account after x login attempts
• Password history: don't allow reuse of the same password, enforce a different password choice.
• Password complexity (these options can be combined)
