Subscriber groups

Subscriber groups allow the administrator to enable or disable internet connectivity for a group of subscribers. A subscriber may be member of a single group and a group may contain subscriber(s).

Create a subscriber group

  • Browse to Service > Group Settings
  • Use the add-symbol in the sub-menu (right top corner)
  • Name the subscriber group
  • Save

Add subscribers to a group

  • Browse to Service > Group Settings
  • Use the Edit icon next to the group in the overview
  • Click the Search users hyper-link at the bottom
  • You can select the property and enter the value to find subscribers
  • Use the plus-icon next to a subscriber to add him/her to the group

Delete or Change a subscriber' group

  • Browse to Service > Group Settings
  • Use the Edit icon next to the group in the overview
  • Click the group name on the same line as the subscriber you wish to adjust
  • The group name will transform from text link to drop-down field
  • Select the action you wish to perform

Rename a group

  • Click the edit icon next to the group name in the overview
  • Below the subscriber group member list is the group name field
  • Save

Enable/Disable internet access for a group

  • Browse to Service > Group Settings
  • Click the last icon to change internet connectivity for a particular group

Delete a group

  • Browse to Service > Group Settings
  • Click the first icon (garbage bin) to delete a group
